Founding Chapter

If you are new to the American Board of Homecare (ABHC) or the concept of certified Home Care Providers, the Orange County Chapter of The American Board of Home Care was the founding chapter. The ABHC is a collection of companies that formed in concern over companies that were sending out contractors, and other potentially dangerous practices to take care of the elderly and those in need. The risks family, hospitals and the elderly take when employing these types of organizations led to the formation of the ABHC.

ABHC members are employee based organizations the employees get such benefits as health care, 401k and many other benefits. You can rest knowing that ABHC members hold to the highest quality of hiring practices, including ensuring all employees can legally work in the US and have passed a thorough background check. If for any reason they get hurt or fall while in the service of an elderly client the employer and workers compensation protects the clients and their families from any exposure to lawsuits etc. The contracting firms still exist but ABHC has found that when education the public on the dangers of contracting services a deeper respect has grown for ABHC and the high standard of quality and protection it brings.
